It works... unfortunately it just send them to your voicemail.

Id rather have them get a "The number you have reached is out of service" message.

I'm glad they're adding this feature, but I do wish they would have had it before. Actually, we have been getting a lot of telemarketers calling our cellphones lately, so I am finding out about this at one of the best times. Too bad I can't block them before they call.

Every day I get about 12 new number nuisance calls. I can establish them as ignore for future but the constant new ones is frustrating. For the past month I have not been plagued with repeat numbers so my system works but there is no defense against the first time caller. I ignore it or let it go to VM which now has a nasty message for telemarketers. My phone is a Thunderbolt which can put known bad numbers in a file with their number to ignore.

With internet calling they can change phone numbers every time they call you. It is the new way the scammers work around the do not call registry.
