installing a 5th receiver

How do I connect a 5th receiver to my dtv dish ? I have the oval 3 lnb dish with all lines connected. please help

You need a 4x6 cascadable multiswitch, hook all 4 from dish to 4x6, then you got 6 outputs to do what you want.

Why not go with the 4x8... then you can go with either 8 rcvrs or 4 DVRs (on any combination thereof).

where do i get the 4x8 multiswitch? Does it matter which way I hook up the four coax to the switch?

do it doesnt matter. as long as you run 4 from the dish to the inputs on the switch.

Note if you connect the over-the-air antenna, you will need diplexers at the end of the cable run before it connects to the receiver. Diplexers are relatively inexpensive though.
