Installation question

Hello,
I have a dual tuner receiver, a dish, a dual lnb, and the house is wired for cable TV. I also know the coordinates to point the dish.
Can I use my current cable wiring?
Also, can I use a splitter so I only need to use one cable from the dish to the receiver?
Anything else that I should know?

What type of dish? What type of dual (legacy or DP)? Is the cable RG6? You can not use a splitter for satellite feeds.

It's a 1 meter dish, and it is a normal Dual LNB. Here is a picture. I don't know if It's RG6 or not. I went to look at it, and there is no writing on the cable.
If I can't use a splitter, does that mean I need two cables coming all the way from the dish to the receiver?

With the correct LNB or Switch, it is possible to run a single cable and then use a seperator to feed the 2 tuners. However that requires a Dishpro Plus (DPP) LNB or switch.

With a 1 meter dish I would assume that you have a Legacy dual (or an equivilant). So yes you would need two lines to the receiver for it to pass the switch check.
