If you have the 811 yet has it ever had a firmware upgrade?

I bought a LCD and I can't find a screen in setup that actually fits the TV. Is there a way to force it to upgrade? Is there anything to upgrade to that will fix it?

Ps. Any thoughts to what I should get since I can upgrade. I have 3 HD TV's in house. What's the most bang for the buck?

As far as I know it was the first HD Dish receiver.. Might be replaced by the 811...?

If you will post snapshot from your TV screen with System Info of your "810".

I blew it... It is an 811. I need to know how to make it download any fixes I guess. What will force it to download latest software?

If it is connected to the satellite antenna but turned "off" for a few minutes it will automatically download the latest software, if what it has is older. On the same screen Smith told you about, it should have the software version. You can look here: http://www.dishnetwork.com/content/customerCare/technical/software_versions/index.asp to see if yours is current (811 is version P380 right now).

Am i to understand that as a new HD Dish subscriber that gets for instance a 622 receiver & a 211 receiver, that may have been on the installers shelf or elsewhere for months, that they will automatically upload relevant firmware upgrades into their system when they are connected to a Dish cable?
