I have a question about software

I just got Time warner cable, and I hate the way the guide and everything looks. I looked up online and found Passport Echo software and it gives a number to call. Does anybody know if I can get new software even though that software isnt being used in my area?

Not a chance, unless you get a TiVo S3 or go with a different provider.

If it is the new Mystro Navigator software that looks like it was designed by Atari in the 1980's, get used to it. That is what all divisions are moving to. It is the crap software that was developed in-house by TW. It is completely worthless and totally underdeveloped. It is also OCAP based, which currently takes FOREVER to load when booted up.

Can you tell that I can't stand this new crap? : )

also to add to the last post, it is being worked on, slow yes, but it is being worked on and should get better as time goes on ( I say this because I still have passport echo, but my friend works from time warner and he has the mystro

Absolutely not. Their boxes are almost completely locked out from end-user changes.
