I did not see a post anywhere else, so, did anyone notice the beach pier is running a tape and not live? Sun coming up way to the North when this time of year it comes up next to the two smoke stacks in the distance. Camera problems? Dropping live feed? Anyone know about this?

Beautiful sunrise, but wait I'm east of there and the sun isn't supposed to peak out here for another 10 minutes yet???

Live Cams Back

The sun is coming up where it should now, so the live cams must be back on. I emailed Surf City contact site and they stated the cams I was referring to they think are operated by the Hurley Corp and Surf City has nothing to do with those cameras.
While digging around I did find a set of cams for the pier that give great views of the pier. Maybe everyone knows of these. If not, check them out real nice views of the area.

If all goes well and according to plan. I'll be at that pier in mid-August (there's a restaurant right there on the water we really enjoyed last time).

Am thinking of running through the water w/ a banner for all you folks to enjoy....
:D

I watched a large truck early this morning back all the way out to the restaurant. What a job. Let me know where you park your car so I can hide in your trunk.
By all means, let us know when you take your water/banner run!:)

Back when they first installed webcams on Bourbon Street, I would go out there at a certain time and pose in front of the cameras. Later at home, I'd check the archives by timestamp and retrieve my pic.

If you pose for the Huntington Pier feed, make sure someone records it :) ...

Ku-band feeds in Mexico

Toshiba HDTV remote works with MicroHD too -- sort of.
