HR44 questions ....

Just had a really weird thing happen.
I have 2 shows recording at 9 and 10 ...
I turned on another show (Chiller/ X-files), taking advantage of the extra tuners for the first time ...
Half way into the show, it froze, and is staying froze ... remote is unresponsive, front of the box is unresponsive, I know I would tyically do a RBR and it should fix itself, however, I have 2 more shows Recording at the moment ...
Are the Recordings still recording while the picture is froze ?
I don't know and figured I would wait it out in case they are recording, I think ones a SF .... so it's probably gone as well.

If you don't mind IR mode, then you could buy either DirecTV's Universal Remote or the backlit Universal RF Remote (this one will just work in IR on the HR44). They don't restrict you to just the Genie Remote to the HR44, although it's the only one to work in RF mode for it.
Already have one .... just figured if I had to learn a new remote, I would learn one I liked.
I did use the old white remote for awhile, not till then did I realized how much I like RF.
Another thing I just found out .... while I do have the HR44 connected to the internet (wirelessly), I still have no access to On Demand, whenever I go to an On Demand channel it says "On Demand is currently not available."
Usually when I don't see Pandora,Sports,YouTube and My Directv, I'll wait a couple hours then I do a menu reset, It usually reappears out of the blue.

I did a double reset the other day and still nothing.
Going to do another one now and hope for the best.
Is it just a reset that triggers it, or do you need to put a code in or something ?
Hopefully it sees my Recordings for tonight, before 8 pm.
Fortunately, the 44 reboots pretty quickly.
My HR24's Always have the Extras on them, every week, no waiting.

The good news is that if you have Hulu Plus & a Roku or AppleTV box,you have a back-up to being able to watch those shows.
Sorry, none of the above .... Netflix doesn't help for current shows.
Got a Sony BR player with a bunch of apps on it.
