THe HR34/AM21 will only list the channels it can see, and if there are no channels it won't edit them. That's different from the other DirecTV DVRs, which use a database and will try to display all the signals for those channelseven if they are marginal.There is a signal threshold the signal has to exceed before the HR34 will list it. It sounds like your signals might be too low for that, remember the AM21 splits the signal which reduces it by 50%, and that your TV tuner is probably a newer design and more sensitive than the AM21.
What signal strengths do you get on the TV? What's your splitter configuration for your OTA signals? And what's your zip code?

Zip code is 47711. There is only one channel that I had trouble with 25.1 which is rf channel 7 I am using a UHF antenna so it falls out of range. It isn't a signal problem because I can stick a paper clip in the antenna jack on my tv and receive a few channels. I guess I need to call CS and see what my next options are. Without knowing if its the HR34 or the AM21 not even sure which way to direct them.

Only 1 receiver since I have 3 clients checked signal strength even the hard to pull in on is showing about 70%. I don't have a splitter. Only one feed to the AM21
