HR34 Software Release ver. 067E 03/12/13

Received the update and it really messed up the remote programming. I have been been using an IOGEAR 3D-HD kit which allows using the HR34/700 on two TV's. One was a Samsung 7050 and other was Vizo and both worked perfect until this update. The update has changed the TV remote programming and allows the DVR to be "paired" with only one TV. Support is now closed but tomorrow I'm going to see if they will reset my receiver back to the old software that worked. They also removed the model numbers in the TV manufactures and instead have gone to a number code system. Previous version allowed to select the manufacture and exact model i.e. Samsung, UN55D7050XFXZA ... This is no longer available as an option.

Support cannot change your software back, no way to go back once they rollout new.

All the model number system does is help find the code and send it to the remote, you can still do it manually. The receiver doesn't know or care how many TVs are programmed into the remote.

got this update today also, everytime i got an update i have no audio for some reason and it's a pain! but all i did was turn mine receiver on/off a few times a my volume came back

i'm having issues since the update this morning. i use pandora everyday and never had issues, now the hr34 will drop the audio during the pandora songs. anyone else having this issue?

I received the update today as well. Only reason I noticed is my "local playlist" setting was changed to "all" and I saw my wifes recordings from the other dvr in the house.

It is working fine with my upgrade.

Working good here and has been so far :)

wonder what the deal is with mine then. i use it everyday, so i know it never had any issues before the update, but now the audio drops out about once per song and i have to press pause then play to get it back again. very frustrating and started the first time i used it after the update.

Anyone else having issues with this firmware release and am21n? I no longer have OTA channels . Everytime I tune to one of them I would get 792 error so I reset the antenna settings and rescaned and now i have nothing all ota channels are gone from guide. i received 067E on 3-19. I first noticed the issue on 3-21 but cant say whether or not that I tuned to OTA after the update and before 3-21. I connected the antenna feed from the AM21N directly to the tv and it pulls all the channels in fine. Thought I would ask the forum before calling CS.

reset the antenna settings (to clear them out)
let it download the guide
then do a double red button reboot (press red button.....let it cycle through and when it starts downloading the guide do another red button reboot...this flushes the guide)
when it comes back up (you have TV again) then do the antenna setup and you should be fine

I've seen that happen after a software update

Tried the double red button reboot didn't work. I also tried to move the USB to the front port with no luck. I think it sees the AM21 tuner because the its letting me do the antenna setup. But the edit channels list button is grayed out.
