Hopperless and Happy

What Bobby was saying is that the OTA tuner input is ATSC only. It does not pass thru any signals, either ATSC or NTSC. It modulates all sat and OTA signals as an NTSC signal for TV2 only.

It also outputs NTSC for TV1 as well if enabled. 722K needs the OTA module for TV1 CH 3 OUT though.

Yes, I forgot about that. But it's still a modulated output for either SAT or OTA channels, not a passthru. Mine on my 722 (no K) is set to channel 69 for TV1.

I don't know about Hopper but the 722 only outputs NTSC, not ATSC.
The 722 was the question. AFAIK, no home device outputs ATSC--too many variations?

Not sure what or even if the Hopper will, but the only outputs on the Hopper currently has are HDMI, component and composite. It doesn't currently output any signal via coax, and since the ota module will input via usb, it may never.

Cowboys and Aliens movie removed from TBS!
