Hopper Questions

I have a few questions about the new Hopper.

1) If the Hopper has 3 tuners how do you get 4 room system?

2) Do you lose rooms while recordings are happening? If so can you control which rooms you lose to recordings?

3 rooms can watch live and one can watch a recording, or 2 rooms can share mirrored programming.

1) each room can choose any of the tuners or watch from the DVR.

2) You lose choices: fewer tuners to chose from, that's all.

If you want live programming to more than 3 TV locations, you can also go to 2 Hopper system (and whatever joeys you need). Then all TV locations can be on independent channels.

Might help with recording conflicts to go with a second hopper since it adds 3 more tuners. All depends on the needs of your household.

Thank you for the information. I have to wait another year until I can come back to Dish. Since I wasn't working I went to D* to save money. I was happy at first and thought I made a good move but the more I'm with D* the more I miss E*
