Hopper/Joey remote double presses

When I program the remote to control an item in learning mode(without a code)
The programmed commands always double press.
Anybody have a fix for this?
Anybody experienced this before?

You are holding the button on the remote you are programming from to long just tap it. I had the same problem. The instructions are misleading, don't hold the button til the hopper remote lights up.

There was a thread on this yesterday that I replied to but I can't find it. (Sometimes I hate our search engine)

But yes only hit the button for a split second.

Me too. I just use Google...it finds it most of the time.
