Hopper 3 just died

Tried to turn on this morning. Just black screen. Unplugged, hit reset button. Nothing.
About a year into my 2 year contract. Don't have warranty. Any suggestions before I call?

Haven't been to satelliteguys in a while. Do you still have DIRT?

Your leasing the Hopper from DISH call them and they should arrange for an exchange.

Not exactly. Some astute social media reps are here, but they are no longer allowed to ask us for our account credentials. For that, we must go to a Dish website.

Sure was. They were very helpful every time I contacted them. Now their chat is useless.

Sign up for the Dish Silver protection plan via your on line account. Then give Dish a service call. I did this a few years ago then cancelled after the call.

They must have changed it because that's what I did when my Hopper2 started acting up. Of course that was a couple years ago.

Doesn’t matter DISH will still replace it for the cost of shipping.
