Hi
I'm looking to replace DirecTV, apparently I'm passed my introductory period and they jacked my rates up
Anyway I have 4 tv's and was looking at going to Dish getting the Hopper, a couple wireless joeys and another receiver for the garage TV that I could put in my toy hauler when I'm out in the desert

Dish wouldn't let me get two hopper 3's so I was looking at a hopper 3 and a 211 for the portable one
They also won't just give me a 211 for the garage at the time of install and I wanted them to run the cable and hook it up which they won't do either

So what's the best way to go about this?

I'm new to this and I appreciate it, thanks!

An H3 and 3 Joeys, or an H3 and 2 Joeys and a ViP211. But the latter, today, requires a separate dish. Late this year that might get simplified to one dish with a new KNB, which is why I suggested 3 Joeys for now. Depends on if you want the ViP211 to work at home, too.

Yes, you would have to buy. ViP211 series only, or wait for the Wally later this year.

Your reply crossed my edit.

Two H3s on a single account should be supported later this year but that might not be best for an RV.

Should I wait for that Wally thing or could I swap out a joey for it later?
Thanks!

If you can wait, I'd live with the Joey and later trade it in for a Wally.

Right now the 211 has to be an owned receiver not a leased receiver. Will have to wait for wally to know what those requirements will be.

I called Directv to cancel and they talked me into staying. Got it back into my promotional price range
So I guess I'm going to need some kind of setup for Directv instead
I'm hoping to find a portable dish that will work with my genie for when we head to Baja at the end of the month

Minimum package level?

Maximum Wireless Joeys on Access Point
