Here is my SILVER & BLACK 2009 winning schedule

Just remember LAST years Buffalo Bills...ssooo don't start printing those playoff tickets just yet!

Who said anything about playoff tickets? not me......yet.

Look what happened to us last year, 3 chances to win, but noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Hell, I'm finding myself just having to defend 5 wins to you guys.....and not all of those 5 wins were against Oakland.....so they all weren't a day at the beach.

But, I would say we are better than last years' Bills team who went 4-0, BTW, and they beat OAKLAND (of course), STL, JAC, and Seattle....whoop-de-doo

It will take a collapse for Denver to lose the division, if they can get by San Diego this week they'll only need 3-4 wins the the rest of the season.

I'd be more concerned with the people that you'll probably lose to during the rest of the season, as you'll likely see them (like Indy) again in the playoffs. If you can beat them in the regular season, then the whole AFC is up for grabs IMO.

The ONLY respectable win Denver has is against a now ordinary New England and Dallas team. In the next 9 weeks, they play SD TWICE, Baltimore, NY Giants, Steelers and the Colts....then come talk to me.:D

It's not that you have to defend the 5-0 start....ANY team, regardless of their schedule, would LOVE a 5-0 statr. But it's WAY to early to be impressed.;)

the raiders showed on sunday that with some true effort they can do better. great defensive performance and the QB had a pretty solid game. i'm sorry to say i was not expecting to see them win because of their poor performance this season. great win

Probably a little too solid... some Raider forums are talking about how they can make it into the wildcard chase now.

I'm guessing those folks don't realize 10 games left...including......Jets, SD, Dallas, Cowboys, Denver, Baltimore, Cincy, Pittsburgh.....

Doesn't look like a wildcard anywhere in there.......

No it does not...But the Jets, SD, Dallas are very beatable. ALSO, there is KC and Washington. MOST LEGIT Raider fans knew they had little chance of going to the playoffs....but let's face it....after the Dolphins "worst to first" magic trick last year, it has EVERYONE and ANYONE saying...."why not my team?"

Beating Cincy/Baltimore/Pitt/Miami/New England to either wild card berth is probably going to require more wins than anyone in our division will have by the end of the year.

NOOO...!! LOL!! Listen, I have never thought the Raiders were EVER a playoff contender...and EVEN if their record was reversed....I would think the same. I just want 1 win MORE than last year. That would show improve, especially after all the injuries and a tougher schedule. BELIEVE ME...playoff was NEVER a thought! ;)

Oh, well I think they can do that no problem :)

Will be fun to watch them flounder more, but if they can keep any kind of momentum over the inevitable 'bounce back to the Raiders people expect them to be' game they'll have within the next couple of weeks, they'll do OK.

...What is funny is that I have never rooted for leagues, conferences, divisions in ANY sport except the AFC West.... it you to be THE toughest division in the entire NFL....I HATE Denver, KC and San Diego....but it is no fun TO ME when the teams you hate, suck!

I agree, it's been more sad than funny in Oakland for some time. The fact that they have so much talent and have so little hope of doing anything with it.... just makes me hate Denver more.

San Diego is almost like a foreigner to me, I only hate them because of Phillip Rivers more than I hate them because they're a rival.
