HD Deal $5 off for 6 months

I just got off the phone with the Customer Retention department at D and was ready to drop the HD package ( Why you might ask , well for me I only find things to watch on Discovery HD ) so I was told that they are offering a $5 a month discount for 6 months to costumers and ask if I wanted that and I said yes. Don't get made at me of flame me if you call and someone tells you theres no such deal just call back and talk to someone else, I would not have posted this if it was not offered to me and I did ask if this was for existing costumers & was told yes.

Can one of the mods move this I put it in the wrong area.

Glad I still have mine for free. When my free expires in June, I am cancelling, unless more channels are added.

I might just cancel due to the shoddy performance and very grainy pictures.

But, with a new HD MPEG4 unit, I guess I'll wait it out.

I just got a HDDVR about 2 weeks ago and they offered me the $5 deal, well my acct shows me with 6 months free.

Ive noticed the 3 days or sp that the HD channels were not as sharp as they were prior to that.
