Outstanding finale!
Will finally sees Dr. Lechter for the monsters he truly is, but he's the one behind bars after being used and framed by Hannibal. That final scene where Dr. Lechter visits Will in is old (or soon to be) maximum cell the detention center for the criminally insane...priceless. :)

The strange think about these prequels is that we know how they'll end. I didn't think I would like Bates Motel or Hannibal, yet they are my two favorite new shows of the season.

At least with Psycho Norman has many years before he gets to be the age he was in the movie.

Now that Will sees Hannibal for the monster he is, I find it hard to imagine this show can last more that another 13-episodes...especially given the rating. I look forward to a 2nd, and final, mini-season.

The network now has set a premiere date for the 13-episode second season of Hannibal, which will succeed the 10-episode first season of Dracula in the 10 PM hour after the Winter Olympics, debuting on February 28.

Where we left off: After Abigail learned that Hannibal was the copycat killer, he killed her and framed Will for both her death and all his previous murders. (Making Will throw up an ear was a nice touch!) After realizing that Hannibal was the serial killer, Will was committed for trying to shoot the doc and greeted his cell visitor with the famous line: "Hello, Dr. Lecter."

Wow! Another fantastic show!! If you're not watching...you should, because it's some disturbingly outstanding programming - dark topics you don't usually see covered on network television, and covered so well.

Don't know why I didn't search Hannibal at SatGuys before .. and yes.. I've just gone through all 78 posts.

Absolutely LOVE this show. Tonights' episode :popcorn , especially as Will was leaving and giving advice to Chilton ... "I'm suggesting convince Jack Crawford however you can, like your life depended on it" deliciously evil.

And the retort: "Why did Hannibal not just kill you?" "Because he wants to be my friend"

And that "friend" note ties nicely to why Clarice has been left alive by the good Doc.

For the "this got you caught" ... since the food tested as non-human ... I'm wondering when someone will see the bullet hole in Hannibal's floor :D

Side note: Yakimono (Grilled and Pan-Fried Dishes) The principal ingredients of "yakimono (grilled foods)" are fish, shellfish, meat and vegetables.

I just finished watching..."Gawd!!! These episodes are so damn good. Unfortunately, the show is on NBC so not many people are watching, which is a huge shame! Anyway, a lot of the happenings in this show could be considered a prequel for Silence of the Lambs...until we see Dr. Chilton eat a bullet. Whatever! I didn't like any of the Dr. Chiltons anyway.
