Hannibal

It probably will be. Ratings are horrible. 2.6 million total viewers with a 1.1 rating in the 18-49 group. I'm seriously just thinking of droping it now. Getting boring.

The funny thing is you are just thinking he is eating human meat, but up until now he has been nothing more then a strange therapist.

Your only thinking of him eating human because that's what you mind thinks when you hear the name Hannibal. :)

I believe the show has shown him being a cannibal. Like in the first show the copycat had the lungs removed then it showed him preparing lungs. Then there is the daughter that knows his secret. He just has not been caught yet.

I agree. I think he has serving man in more ways than just as a mental heath care specialist.

I think the show is turning to "gross out" tactics, which I can do without.

Last night's show was deeply disturbing on so many levels....Great Show! This show is well-written, well-acted, and it deals with mental illness, the interactions of mentally ill people and their therapists (who may also be mentally ill), the interactions between therapists and their therapists, the interactions of therapists and their law enforcement patients (in a clinical setting), the interactions of therapists and law enforcement (in the role of professional consultant), the interactions of therapists and law enforcement (on a personal level), and the interactions between serial-killers in whatever form that may assume. Really dark stuff and this show doesn't hold back on the blood, gore, violence and sickness...especially for a network show. The two weak points were the actors selected to play Hannibal and Will...but I've gotten used to them.

In this episode, everybody is looking for a friend (even a serial-killer needs someone who understands them) and, much like love, your friendship may not be returned in kind and that person may be interested in befriending another person. Serial-killers and their victims...all looking for love and acceptance in all the wrong places. ;)

It's too bad this show will most likely be cancelled because there is nothing like it in primetime, and NBC has almost nothing else worth watching.
