A new electronic store is moving into my area called HHGreggs!

It is located in Erie, PA in the old CircuitCity store. I never heard of them and was wondering if anyone else has them nearby. The Erie Best Buy store needs some competition other than Radio Shack!

This upcoming Black Friday looks to be a little more exciting!!!.. :up

Yep, I too noticed they have moved into a few empty Circuit City building throughout Virginia. In fact, it looks like they are not operating over 170-stores...all east of the Mississippi river. I haven't been in one of their stores yet, but I was wondering where they came from...since I was wondering if they were somehow formed from the smoldering embers of the now defunct Circuit City failureship...er, leadership. Anyway, it looks like have been in operation for many years and are headquartered out of Indianapolis. I sure hope they are better than Circuit City because I have only been in Best Buy once since CC folded. We (consumers) can certainly use the competition.

They are based out of indy and have been around here forever. We have them all over the place around here. They have weekly sales on different electronic's and appliance's. Most of the "electrical" stuff in my house came from them. But, their just like any other electronic store, whatever your looking for might be cheaper at best buys or it might be cheaper at HHGregg's. When i'm getting ready to buy something, i always check both their website's and compare prices.

There is a HH Gregg in Florence KY, they been there for quite awhile.

I went to the grand opening last night!

Popcorn, they told me that there will be a store very soon in the Pittsburgh area!! :up

There is a lot of stuff there and either prices really dropped on electronics or they have some great grand opening prices. A lot of people buying big ticket items in the way overcrowded store. It is different to see all the electronic "hardware" but no media or software of any kind is sold there. The sales people do work on commision so they are eager to help customers. Some even have knowlege of C Band and FTA along with some eye patch stuff. I have to get back there when the crowd dies down!!!
