A few years back they were doing some solid stuff. I'm thinking of the Atrix / Photon type phones. They were also using the docking station concept which I thought was ahead of its time.
Unfortunately they decided to "hella lame" the software aspect of the docking stations which ruined the experience.
If Google can't turn it around with the next generation of phones, I think a lot more than 1200 jobs will be gone.
