Google Scores NFL Sunday Ticket Package

Sounds like unlimited streams was a marketing fib to get more subs
It even said in the article people were password sharing-

YouTube has said you get unlimited streams of the Ticket at home and up to two away from home. (This is important because some subscribers are splitting the Ticket’s cost by sharing their passwords with people outside their home.)

If you want to use it outside your home, it has to be on a tablet and/or phone.

If you are using it while traveling, it will count as one of your home screens.

Some people ( not naming/accusing anyone by name) just like to bring mis-truths and negativity to this forum.

Where is any of that in the rules?... when you say you can have 2 simultaneously streams outside the home..that kinda promotes password sharing in a back handed sort of way

Those rules for YTTV have always been there, go look them up yourself.

Outside the home has always been on a tablet/phone.

Unless you are traveling, but I have no idea how that works, never travel anymore.

But if you are on your home network, for ST, you can have more then 3.

I only watch one at a time since I live by myself.

I am not a fan of password sharing, all that does is take the money away from those who provide the programming

All that article was is people, who are mad they cannot share ST and save themselves money.

Fwiw, the NFL ST Streaming on home computer is a whopping :35 seconds ahead of the TV Streaming signal.
Carolina vs Seattle ...

I don't know, maybe each game is different, not sure.

Was impressed how quickly the blackout was lifted on the ST channel when Fox switched to the Cowboys game because the Chiefs were routing the Bears. DirecTV historically had a hard time dealing with that kind of thing with much agility.

I am traveling right now. My Firestick I travel with is working fine while my wife uses YTTV at home on the AppleTV 4Ks we have in the house.

Again, I have never used it traveling, but from what I heard , that is how it should work.

As it should ...
Because it is YTTV.

Rules for ST and out of the home are different.

In home, you can go beyond 3 streams, out of the home Tablet and/or Phone.

A lot of those tweets for those using it out of home was on a TV, not a portable device.

IIRC, they said Multiple streams at home .... was 2 or 3 and they expanded that ... (probably mainly for gamblers)

Also allows 2 outside of home ...

I don't recall them saying that it couldn't be a TV.

(are you saying that If I am traveling, I have to watch it on my 6" cell phone screen ???)

Out of the home, is Out of the home .... If I go to my Cottage, I can't watch it on my 60" TV up there, I have to use a tablet instead or cell phone ???
This IS Streaming were talking about .... why would they care how Big of a screen I put it on, its still Streaming .... and they already have THIER Money from the service ....
What difference is it if I pull it up on my Cell phone and Cast it onto a TV ... ?

Just asking ...

This is why I liked it on Direct, and I could use my SlingBox. I paid for it, could go to a friends home and cast it to his tv.

Everything I have read have said on a portable device out of the home.

read the tweet, says on the go-

sorry for the confusion! you’ll be able to enjoy unlimited Sunday Ticket streams at home & 2 additional streams for you and your household to use on-the go

What devices do you use on the go?

I have no idea with ST, you do not have YTTV, so might be different rules then.

No, as long as no one is using it at your home address, would assume it would be ok.

read the above tweet in my previous post from TeamYouTubehelp-

thx for reaching out! seems like your acct is being used in two different locations.

Again, it said on the go devices, the money they get is for those to use in their home, the goal is to make money, not let subscribers share with others that did not pay for it.

This is starting to become another password sharing discussion.

You can mirror the phone or tablet on a TV

So again, your saying I can't watch it at my Cottage while someone is at home watching ????

It Clearly says you can have 2 out of home streams.
Doesn't say the home has to be turned off.

You can mirror the phone or tablet on a TV
How is that any different that watching it ON the TV, its streaming regardless.
Its coming from the Internet, who care what device it goes to.

So, I can feed it from my Cell phone and Cast it to the TV, but I can't just stream it to my TV ... thats kinda why they have TV's that have Apps built into them.

It has been answered for you already, pay attention to what is posted.

I will answer again, yes it does, it also says it has to be on the go devices, which means tablet or phone has to be the out of home devices.

You cannot have ST on TVs in two different locations, so if you are at your cottage, you can watch it, the opposite is true also, if it in on in your home, no one can watvh it in your cottage.

Unless, at either location, you are on a ON the Go device.

They care because if everyone could share their account, then that cuts down on subscriptions.

This is Google, they know what devices you have, where they are, properly know what you are going to have for dinner.

So if you have Rokus in two different locations, they will know, if you can cast it to your TV in a different location, they will know.

These are their rules, unlimited streams in your home, if away from home, up to 2 on the go devices, phone or tablet, if you use it at a cottage or whatever, then you home devices cannot view it at the same time.

Because it makes it a bit less enjoyable to share the passwords (ie only one place can have a big screen). If you are on the road, it sounds like you can watch it on your TV wherever you are. But if you are at home, you couldn't share the password with someone splitting the bill and both be able to watch on TV. Seems a very reasonable compromise.

You can share it with your family group though, not sure I've seen anything in the terms suggesting they have a lesser or limited experience. I'd care more about it if I ran into problems or if it wasn't debating hypotheticals. It's all worked as expected so far, only real complaint is sometimes the multiview options leave something to be desired - for example I think the Saints game yesterday was only part of 2 multiview setups of the dozen+ that were offered. Otherwise it's a feature second only to the Red Zone channel in usefulness that's ever been introduced to this package.

It's probably exceeded my expectations on every other front, from latency to lifting blackouts when local channel rights change due to game switches, etc. I've used key plays to catch up with games too, that's really neat.

I've never really looked into the post-game offers, some highlights that are nice that I was wondering about...

Here are the options for the Chiefs game yesterday.

This game switched at the half. The KVVU feed is our local feed archived for the duration of the game. This reflects the change in games, and has half the Cowboys game like you'd expect from a traditional DVR that lives and dies by the guide data. The NFL ST feed however, has the entire Chiefs/Bears game and is available there for me on demand just like the recaps and condensed game options listed inline there. Really nice.

Clicking the NFLST Logo in the upper left (I presume there are other ways to get to some of the following) while playing this content gives some nice options too.

Only thing I don't see is a way to watch prior games in their entirety from teams that I haven't expressed a prior interest in, but if that was important to me I could just DVR them all. There are still 8+ months of Chiefs games in my library.
