my line of sight from what i can get on my 1m ku dish is 15w, im pretty sure i could hit 12,5w the way to 129w maybe lower but theres no sat on ku that i can see on this side.

I think, maybe whisful tanking but, i could see down to amc7, id love to see a lauch from that nasahd channel.

so with your results with a 24'' actuator i could expect a 80deg arc.... i hope theres a way to expend this arc with something.

I'm pretty far east and I can get AMC 7, where are you located? I could get a bit wider arc by adjusting the clamp on the Von Weise but I'm happy with what I have so I haven't messed around with it.

nice, i just looked again at your last reply and i had my answer for amc7, but ill look for whats needed to get a litle more on the est side.

AMC 7 is low on the horizon for me but I get it quite strong. If you can't see that one, NASA is on AMC 6 as well and I believe at least one of their signals is HD on that bird.
