General Hospital

I'm thinking Claudia is behind all that happens at the carnival. It definitely would be out of character for her to do nothing to Christina.
I played it in slo-mo to try to see who was hit by the car. Since it was very obvious it was a double there is no way to tell for sure. Size and coloring looked a little like Michael but they have done so much to that kid lately that I can't believe they would have him hit buy a car at this time.
I'm guessing Jake is in the little carnival cart. I hate when things happen to the children so I hope he ends up ok. I remember when Maxie got BJs heart. It was just too sad.
Then I thought maybe Edward was behind the wheel of the car because of the drug.
Darn.... I'm babbling

Well, Edward dumped his whole drink on Mrs. Floyd, and I almost spit out my soda. So she's going to have to try harder to drug him. Laughed so hard, but who the heck is he meeting, she looks way to young to be going out with Edward!

I love Elizabeth. Call Nik out on the dress!

Olivia was hilarious when she went off on Dominic/Dante. Maybe by the end of the Carnival, the secret will be out about Sonny being his dad. I think it's funny that Sonny assigned Dominic to guard his boys. It seems fitting.

lol Yep he sure did. I guess maybe he isnt the one behind the wheel after all. That woman is too young for him. Not sure what is going on there.
I love Dominic. I hope he is around for a while. Lulu's description was just too familiar for Olivia!
Now why did they have to bring in mean ol prison daddy. Just to confuse the issue I guess.

They picked some really good'n'creepy carnival music. Seriously creepy.

Mrs. Floyd just keeps getting foiled at every turn. It's funny! If only Monica knew how right she was about saving Edwards life... Crap, he drank one of her martini's, not good.

Love the Sam/Jason song. Sam is hilarious, faking that woman out, I was laughing so hard.

Dunk-A-Hunk, if I ever help coordinate a carnival, I am so using that! Little Molly was so cute, dunking all the hunks!

For a second, I thought the fortune teller was Helena, but her nose is too big. She was creepy too. They should have done this around Halloween, with all the scary stuff they're putting into it.

Today was good, but I'm used to cliffhanger Friday's, and today wasn't really a cliffhanger.

Guess I was right about Edward after all! Now I know Claudia still has to do something bad. I havent watched todays episode yet.

PREVIEWS!!!!!

On General Hospital, the most terrifying ride of everyone's lives continues -- as the carnival disaster claims a life!

Boy, do they know how to throw a carnival in Port Charles. Rides, games, cotton candy … cataclysmic event. With all the city's residents in the same place, it doesn't take much to put everyone we care about in danger.

So when Andrea drugs Edward Quartermaine to keep him from incriminating her in the Hughes murder, and Edward goes into cardiac arrest on the road and plows through the carnival, countless characters are in dire peril. As in, death occurs and a hell of a lot more people get injured (you know, rides collapsing, people getting hit … the works).
The one good thing (if you could call it that) that develops from the carnival disaster is that Jason and Sam are drawn closer together, as are Elizabeth and Nikolas. Yes, Nikolas and Elizabeth. It's time for another kiss between the two, who can't resist each other despite themselves. But did we mention someone witnesses? Think it's Lucky?
Don't expect the Corinthos family to leave the carnival unscathed. When encountering life or death situations, people tend to want to reveal the whole truth. And after the carnival disaster, Olivia may have to blow the Dominic/Sonny father/son secret -- because someone's life may depend on it. And then there's the whole drama with Kristina ... well, we're getting ahead of ourselves. You'll have to watch.

And that's just the beginning. Characters going missing, characters being injured, characters being thrown together! It's a huge week on "GH" -- so don't expect everyone to make it out alive.
Quick programming note: There's no original episode of General Hospital on Monday, September 7th. Instead, catch an encore of the aftermath of Claudia's car accident --which sent Michael and Kristina on the run.

I hate to complain, but why can't they just tape it in advance? It's no fun having a day off and not being able to watch a new episode, not that I don't have everyday off, but I'm just sayin' for everyone who works all the time, it'd be nice to see a new episode instead of a rerun.

My thoughts exactly :)

Ok.... a "rumor" board says that Andrea is the one that is killed but Dante is critically injured and needs something in order to live that makes Olivia have to tell Sonny for the donation. Jake is missing but found ok.

Hey TigerProwler and SatGal.....sorry have not been around. :( I am now trying to play catch up on the soap. Please do not say that they have another missing baby? ...maybe between the two of you ....you can both catch me up? Hope you both had a good Labor Day. C.U. soon ;):)

I have to give props to the writers. They do sweeps really, really well. I'm like glued to the TV.

Thank God Spinelli is okay; I think I love Johnny for saving him from those gunmen.

All I can say is it serves Andrea right. I'm glad Edward hit her, ha, I say!

I'm such a sap. I cried when they found Jake. Because of SatelliteGal's previews I knew he would be okay, but I still cried.

PREVIEWS - But they don't really tell us anything really interesting yet.

The twin disasters of Edward's crash at the carnival and Anthony staging a shooting at Sonny's warehouse have converged to put all sorts of lives in jeopardy. Most dire is Johnny's, as he's been shot and rushed to the hospital. While the GH staff attempts to save his life, Claudia and Olivia hold vigil. And if you know anything about Claudia and Olivia, you know that vigil won't stay civil for long. By the end of the week, Sonny decides to play hardball with Anthony. Which could put Johnny in the crosshairs AGAIN.

Poor Olivia. She's busy holding vigil everywhere. Dominic (aka her son Dante) is not out of the woods yet either. All that praying and crying goes into overdrive! Dominic's condition doesn't stop Sonny from making a very bold request of him. Y'see, Sonny thinks Johnny's behind the warehouse shooting. So he visits Dominic and lets him know that Order #1 is to kill Johnny on his command. Does Dominic's "on the job" duties include offing his mother's boyfriend?

Elsewhere, Liz and Nikolas still can't look at each other without getting hot and heavy. Which, in Port Charles, translates into the pair having sex (!). Guess Lucky picked a terrible time to ask Liz to marry him. Will Liz bow out due to her feelings for Lucky's brother? Or will she accept out of guilt and responsibility?
Meanwhile, Michael's gotten a taste of remembering stuff from when he was in his coma, and he definitely wants more. So he asks Sam to help him figure out what all these little flashes of memory mean. But you know what they say about trusting memories: Sometimes they can be a bit ... different than what actually happened.

All this, PLUS: More and more people keep walking in on Sam and Jason's romantic moments, and Ethan scrambles to save Rebecca from Nikolas's scheming.

wb carol I was wondering where you were.

Read the previews and it sort of catches you up but you miss the excitement of watching. I run out of time a lot and rely on the previews and skimming just to catch up.

Jason broke my heart when he was waiting for news on Jake.
They spent a lot of time watching Jason walk through the carnival. They were just buying time.
So now Andrea is dead and Robin found the digitalis and knows it wasnt Edwards fault so at least they aren't going to drag that out for 2 months.
Now I have to go check for rumors!!!
