If you are using a jack/actuator, then the motion is not really linear across the sweep of the dish.
Of course, it's fine to give a representative count, say around your true south.

That's for sure.
Out at the far west of my arc ( I don't have a far east), a single bump of the GBOX brings me my next sat.

Gbox is the best one. I have both. The Vbox works but the Gbox works far better and the build quality is better. I only use the Gbox now.
