GAC coming to DIRECTV in Sept

GAC, Great American Country, sung in the proper tune of course. I had it when Adelphia carried then they switched to CMT, dish still carries it but I don't subscribe to the appropriate package.

I dont know how many times I heard a commercial about GAC not being on DirecTv (or they may have announced it different than that) asking you to ask your provider for that channel. Looks like it finally worked.

yep reported on allacess.com on 8/20:

"JONES RADIO NETWORKS' Country video channel, GAC, added a little muscle today as it inks a deal with DIRECTV for coverage, starting in SEPTEMBER. According to JONES execs, the move will give the channel access to 6.5 million more homes."

Looks like Direct TV Customers will finally get GAC!
