You're probably getting a bit of a signal from Nimiq 1 at 91W...it's right next door...

It's called adjacent satellite interference. DBS satellites transmit around twice the amount of wattage than a typical FSS satellite, so their off-axis signal will be stronger as well. I dunno what size dish you are using, but the smaller the dish the wider area of the sky it sees and it increases this problem.

whats abc news now showing on if it isnt g 28 anymore lyngsat says its still their

It is on G28. A dish has a specification called BEAMWIDTH. Just because a dish is pointed at a satellite doesn't mean that it won't receive a bit of signal from one of it's neighbors. As I said in my previous post, the smaller the dish the wider area of the sky it can see, so a smaller dish is more likely to see a little signal from a satellite next door even though it's not pointed directly at it. When you go up 10cm in dish size this will probably not happen as bad.

ahs ok well smaller signal im getting is a 55 lever n 84 quility singal and thats with a bent dish so not to bad then

same thing steven said about the dish from sadoun so he worked out a great package for me
