Full Channel to launch Red Sox
in high-definition

WARREN – Full Channel TV Inc. announced Monday the launch of New England Sports Network in high-definition as part of its free tier of HD service.

On June 1, subscribers who rent HD cable converters will begin receiving NESN HD on channel 934. NESN is the home of Boston Red Sox baseball and Boston Bruins hockey.

The launch will bring the count of HD channels on Full Channel’s lineup to 15.

Full Channel also carries HDNet, a national high-definition cable network with rights to Major League Soccer games and NASCAR events in high-definition.

Full Channel is a locally owned cable operator in Rhode Island. The family business began providing cable TV in 1982 in Barrington, Warren and Bristol. The company has filed a request with state regulators to expand its system into East Providence.
