FTC Sues Dish for Do Not Call Violations

Whats sad about this is that a majority of these calls from DISH Network are NOT from DISH Network. Instead they are calls from Telemarketers who were hired by independent retailers who call and pretend they are DISH Network. Many of them even use caller ID spoofing.
Then, it is up to Dish to clamp down on their retailer network. They do it when it comes to chargebacks and such. But, I'm sure that they view these DNC violations as revenue boosters, without breaking any laws themselves. So, they turn a blind eye.

Yeah crazy thing is that a lot of companies could be dealing with this I guess it depends on who get picks from their list to go after but Dish is not the only one I'm sure there could be many others.
