Dish was calling me 10 times a day trying to get me to sign up. It was from the number 888-285-9984. If you want to avoid the menus just call this number and I think it connects you to a customer service rep. Every time they called I filed a complaint, took months to get them to stop bothering me.

Its not Dish Network, its whoever is calling is spoofing the caller id to show that it's Dish Network calling.

This is VERY easy to do if you have the correct phone equipment. And you don't even need phone equipment to do it as there are companies like SpoofTel that let you spoof the caller id as well.

I think the caller id spoofing here is the real issue, and is one that Dish Network can't control.

If you search the internet you will find many programs that block calls based on CID. My favorite is one that monitors your PHONE from the windows TRAY and blocks .COM munication based on CID and it is free.
