I called for free HD and was told that offer is only available to existing customers of 12 months or more. Rep told me that I would be eligible Aug 15. She told me to call back at that time and I would get free HD. Said she noted the discussion in the "comments" section of my account.

Angie wants a 24 month programming commitment for free HD. Will the third time be the charm? :\

wahoo a quadruple post!!

was told free hd is only for new customers

was told I already have early bird renewal price which is the best offer. three calls and no one is budging.

what should I ask for now? I am at a loss, didn't realize it would be so difficult

Have been on AutoPay since Day 1 ... called and Free HD was added to my account for 24 months. The entire process took about 5 mts. Thanks to this thread and the posters!

I just called in and was successful on the first try asking for free HD promotion. I was first offered free three months of starz, showtime, and HD extra but I declined each of them as I wouldn't really use them. Finally after that, she said that she saw that I was eligible for the Free HD for 24 months.

need help from Jimbo or someone. What should I call and ask for? I'm sick of being bounced around and then them not knowing what I'm talking about.

I called in conjuntion with my annual "ST" call, and received the 2-Yr free HD. I've been on Autopay for several years. (rev'd HD on 1st call attempt)

When I called, I told them that I had heard that others were getting HD for Free for 2 years .... I'm sure they checked my standings with them, came back and said if I was OK with going to AutoPay, they could do it.
I told them that I already have paid them for the year and that should be sufficient, they didn't agree, so I gave them a CC that I don't use much . I was informed that the CC will not be billed as I all ready have the money in thier account and not to worry about it.

So far so good.

have anyone received their first credit yet? I called last month and they say on this bill the credit will appear..I just checked my statement today and I am not receiving the credit
