i just got a fortec lifetime ultra , the dish is a dish network 500 about 24 inchs, i want to get amc4 to get the RTP channel , but since Im a rookie, I dont know what to do.. Im in montreal canada skew 101 elevation 31, but getting no signal, tried tp scan nothing, power scan get no tp, how can I fix this , what do I do , this is the 1st rcv i get???

The Dish 500 Antenna will not work for AMC-4 you will need a KU linear LNBF and a much bigger dish. 30" minimum and around 1m to be on the safe side. The bigger the dish the better!
The dish you have will work for a a few In the Clear channels and some radio but thats it!
