During the same episodes of "Through the Decades" there was a commercial for the "TV FREEWAY" and later was the "FREETV KEY"

I actually saw the key in action today. The shop owner said he picks up 25 channels. i know this is an imperfect comparison but I get 62 with a Winegard 7694 about 5 miles away.

They'll do anything to get people to stop paying for local TV stations on cable by getting them to buy these antennas. I happen to own at least one ClearTV antenna, which I bought at Walgreens. It's like cable has become the next payola.

My store (Walgreens 9769) actually dropped the cleartv. We were selling them pretty well, too. I'll have to tell people to just get the rabbit ears instead.

so this morning I am flipping through the stations and there it is
the 30 minute infomercial for the Clear Tv Key

Its the SAME commercial...with horrible over dub of "cleartv key" instead of the old "Clear Tv" saying
