Just saw MGM on demand has 1080p All dogs go to Heaven and it's free for people who have MGM. That is a great sign I believe that maybe they are starting to give out more free 1080 p movies on Direct. I could be out of the loop however maybe this isn't the firs time they have done it but it's the first I have seen.

Not the first. MGM has offered 1080p VOD for quite a while when they have anything up. I've watched 1080p Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Your, Mine, and Ours and several others over the last couple years.

I'm not subscribed to the HD Extra Pack and therefore don't get MGM.
Yet I'm currently downloading this movie.
So maybe it's "more" free after all.
And, yes I started to watch to verify it wasn't just the first 5 minutes.
I can't even tune 1562. It says channel not available. However i did find the movie by browsing through the list of "channel 1000" Direct on demand!

MGM doesn't have a dedicated channel like the others (no 1562). The only way to find MGM titles is to go through channel 1000. There aren't, and never has been, many to choose from.
