After the big screwup on the CSRs end, the local installer finally got a 722 in for me yesterday and stopped by late in the afternoon. The installer was a great guy and VERY easy to work with. So far, I am really impressed by the interface on the 722 compared with my crappy motorola cable company DVR. Picture quality wise, I notice a little more "softness" in the picture compared to the cable HD channels, but I was expecting that.
I was also impressed with the signal strength on my OTA channels. When I had an 811, the signals were pretty weak. Then I went to an old voom receiver for an OTA tuner and signals were better. With the 722, I think it even beats the voom tuner.
Overall, I'm a happy customer so far. Now, I just hope they didnt screw me over on the billing.
