Favorites and Parental Controls on Hopper and Joey

I've got 1 Hopper and 1 Joey. I set up Favorites and parental controls on the Hopper assuming they would transfer over to the Joey as well. They did not. Is there a way to sync these or do they need to be set up separately on the Joey?
