External hard drive activation fee?!

I don't know how the "free Dvr storage" section could have been any clearer.
Detailed pictures so you could pick your box out of a lineup?

Maybe a table (with detailed pictures) would have been better (although lots of mobile devices don't do well with tables). Make it similar to the presentation under the "My Equipment" tab.

LOL!

Having been a copywriter for several mediums over the years, I've succumbed to the fact when it comes to print, anything under the Banner, probably won't be read, word for word.

READ, AMERICA, PLEASE!!

I thinkyou said you had a Hopper. If so, it will support 2 ehd's at a time. You can use a powered usb hub to connect more than 1 usb device to a single port on the Hopper. If you have/get the ota module it will work with a usb 2.0 hub.

If you dig deep enough, you'll find plenty of people bit, myself included. They had nothing to gain by building a "base". It was at least two years later they got "charitable".

I never regretted paying the $40, as you say it was quite awhile before they dropped it, I used my EHD alot in that time in particular for my Wife's Soap Opera at the time.

It never made sense to charge $40 to enable functionality already built-in to the receiver. At least the 211 makes a little more sense since it turns it into a DVR. That being said I caved long ago and paid the $40 for my 722ks back in the day.

In this case, it appears that the reader ignored the banners (as well as any explanatory text) and zeroed in on the dollar amount.

I read the whole thing, and then I remembered that very recently I upgraded a cell phone for "Free" (Plus a 'one time' $36 activation free) and realized that 'Free' isn't always 'Free.' So then I came to this forum and made a post, just to clarify.

Does the Hopper have a Aerial Antenna hook up yet?
