This is just disgusting. The guy knew of a ten year old boy being sodomized, remained silent when his AD did nothing, and is going to represent Penn State three more games (plus a potential bowl game)?!?

If I am an opposing coach, there no way I shake this b@stard's hand. If I am voting in a poll, Penn State gets no points from me.

I know we have Ohio State fans on this board. I don't know about Wisconsin (Penn St's other remaining road game). I want to see this banner outside both stadiums, and I want Paterno to see it when he arrives:

YOUR SILENCE LED TO MORE CHILDREN BEING RAPED

And if I am running a bowl game, I hire a fleet of lawyers to avoid having to extend any bowl invitation to this low life.

Wow, I think thats the first time I've EVER had a post removed, particularly when I was not causing the issue.

I cleaned up all the posts responding to it. The thread was going down a path that was not going to continue.

Edit: Easier to do a complete clean up.

It's stunning how One's man perverted ways has brought down a coaching legend, a president, a college's reputation, and so much more.

It would have been nothing but a short, sad chapter in PSU's history if men of character had stood up to protect the innocent.

Please close the thread, since my post was the cause of problems even though I don't think it was, I was just stating my opinion about the post above mine which didn't get deleted. Anyway go ahead and close it, thanks.

I'm stunned that PSU had the fortitude to fire Paterno. Here's praying that the university has the strength to follow through for the victims.

(I do have some empathy for the PSU players. They are caught in a maelstrom they did not create. I hope they understand this is more important than their game, but I understand their desire to continue their season.)

I wonder if the NCAA will punish PSU at all. This makes what OSU and USC did look like eating candy before dinner
