ESPN-U & ESPN Classic will swap channel#'s on 6/30

Now if they would move VS down to the 200's too it would be great

Or move all of the ESPNs and other sports channels (NFL, MLB) to the 600s.

I agree that some re-organzing of channels should be done, grouping channels better

Well, ESPN will stay in the 200's, they pay for thier location, so they won't be moving all them anytime soon.
Thats why CNN is where it is at 202, they paid for the location.

Thats kind of where I was going with it. I think that the ESPNs grouped at the top of the sports secion, then the MLB/NFL?ect, and versus. Then have the rest set up like they are.

And move CNN down to the news section. Ect

Yes it is odd to have CNN in 200 and then Fox, MSNBC and other in the 300's

Yup, that happened a LONG time ago.
I'm guessin that ESPN paid a little less that CNN did at the time.

That said, I don't know if paying for the location is a payment for LIFE or a period of time.

Personally, I hope they stay right where they are.

The 3D ESPN is a Special channel, so I would expect it to be elsewhere.
106 sounds fine seeing it's a Special channel being used for a short time ...

My Opinion on the Sports Channel is keep the ones available in the packages other then the addition of the Sports Pack be near ESPN. If it is part of the Sports Pack put it up by the regional Channels.

At least it is better than Charter in my area. ESPN and ESPN 2 are 25 & 26 mean while FSN North and VS are 61 & 60.
