EPG Remaps

Hi,

I was looking at the TheList! and noticed Dish remaps the internationals along the 600-624 channels. I don't get my English Int'l channels remapped to 600 on my 722. I was wondering if others have their ethnic packages remapped. This question extends to other remaps such as 98-99 from the radios, and 412 for the RSNs?

The remapping to the 600's is a Hopper thing. It's kind of annoying, as online guides have the original channel numbers. Plus, we had to learn them when "upgrading" to the Hopper. The nested/collapsible channel feature is somewhat annoying as well. Why they feel the need to group a handful of channels into one parent channel, I do not know, especially for the Japanese "pack" which consists of ONE channel. (Two, if you count the almost unwatchable One World Sports, which has worse PQ than a smartphone webcam.)

Thanks for the clarification Gary. Thought it would be cool, but guess I'm not missing out on much.

And YES my eyes are traumatized when watching One World Sports (ch. 9794)...looks like a VGA technology. haha
