OTA EPG issues

So, I bought a better antenna and can now pick up a crap ton of local channels with my Hopper. However, Indy local channels 008-01 and 023-01 don’t have the guide data - they simply state “WISH removed CW8”. Can someone connected to the Dish tech team or the DIRT team pass this along?

Dish does not generate guide data. Some other company does it. Can't remember who. Used to be Tribune but I don't think so now.

well known subs always show info in guide such as metv. Others won't at all. You can get some info from titantv web site (Thanks Crodrules). One of my subs is named tbd (to be determined?). Never do I see any info on that one!. Oh, well, you live with it.

Since the OP says the guide days says "WISH removed CW8", I'm guessing that comes from Dish. The third party sites (Tribune, TitanTV, etc) wouldn't know about that unless Dish tells them.

It’s on the data stream that they send. It’s similar to the info that shows up when there is a local channel dispute.
