Finally I can reproduce this 100%
1. Single mode
2. make both tuners record something - doesn't matter what
3. While they recording, try to playback something with DD
If you got DD output, you are lucky
Now, use SWAP button to switch tuners, go playback those show with DD again and you will get only PCM. Switch tuners again - got DD.
The same, actually, with live tv: if one of tuners is recording something (don't know how to define if it tv1 or tv2 in single mode) then you will never get DD sound In this case it's better to record this show and playback later with DD
