Hello, I'm new to your forum and I am seeking some guidance. I am wanting to install a Direct TV DVR/ Receiver in my fifth wheel RV. I currently have a two LNB standard dish and a standard receiver. Can someone tell me if if I can do this and what receiver/DVR model would you recommend. I think I understand I would have to run a second cable line which would not be a problem. Will I need a telephone line as I do at my home headquarters.

Thanks Guys,:)
Bill

I think the most current SD DVR is the R22. You will only be able to get the 101 sat with that dish, even though the R22 is capable of receiving the other sats. And you will need to run a second cable to use the dual tuners. Telephone is not needed.

And welcome to the forum.

if you belong to costco. they have the hddvr for 159. that way if you ever upgrade the dish you will be ready. plus it comes with the rf remote (a $25 upgrade) and yes just run the second wire down and your set.
