Hey guys

I once subbed from Toronto Ontario area to DTV,I guess it was about 4 years ago. I just finished reading a good thread here on this from 2008, but still had some questions.

I tried the number in Toronto that I used to sub to DTV but seem to have gone out of business. They charged me 65 bucks annual fee and that was it for them. After that DTV just charged my Visa every month.

I have serached high and low for a agent without success so far.

I also wonder if the 2 units I have will still work for DTV, older RCA units. One is a DRD430 and the other is a vDS515. I do not need HDTV so as long as DTV will still activate them. I purchased 2 P4 cards from the agent at the time.

Will those boxes still work for DTV?

would anybody be willing to PM a new guy with a lead on a broker? :) or advice

Thanks

Go with new boxes. And i don't even think you can subscribe a P4 anymore. D* is very sticky about ird's. Its not impossible to sub in Canada.. but its a bit tricky

As I was saying I did sub from Canada about 4 years ago, my broker went out of business. It seems from my re search that there are brokers but people are keeping it close to the vest. I was not aware that the P4 was out of the system? I would be a reactivation of the same units with same cards So I would not be exactly a new customer just a absent one?

ANYWAY, it seems after 2 posts I already have a nick name...TOPIC STARTER..:p good thing I am not paranoid or I might take that as a insult

I did get some very good info from a 2008 thread here before I posted.
