I have no idea which equipment will prevail. It could be DTV because they have a few million more subscribers. Or maybe it will be Dish if a DTV satellite fails first. Only time will tell.....

I would guess they would keep both companies separate. It would cost a fortune to migrate users on either one to the other.

Folks if this goes through and is approved it will be one to two years minimum before customers see any changes to anything.
