Do you subscribe to HD channels?

Let's see...more than 80% of SatGuys E* HD subscribers also subscribe to VOOM HD? Wow! I wonder what that percentage is for the non-Satguys folks? It would have to be far less than 50%

It's a moot point since VOOM21 is supposed to be included with the HD Pak. My take: E* will throw in VOOM21, ESPN2HD and perhaps a few other National HD channels and raise the HD Pak price to $14.99.

I would think that it's bound to end up higher than $14.99, since that is what it costs now for the HD Pack + VOOM10. Personally, I'd be surprised if it was less than 19.99 if it includes VOOM21 + ESPN2HD + any other additions. (not that I'd be complaining, either...I just want the channels! :D )

This poll shows the incredibly biased nature of the members of this forum toward HD. 85% of the respondents are subbing to HD. While I believe across the entire E* subscriber base, this number is closer to 5%. Thus we get all worked up over MPEG4 and HD Locals and whether E* is going to expand the VOOM pak, while Joe and Jane Dish Subscriber couldn't care less about these issues.

AT 60, HD pak, locals HD OTA, I'm thinking about getting the Voom channels but I'm not sure if it is worth 99.95 for a second dish. What do you guys think? Is there any way of getting the 61.5 install cheaper?

Yes, you can get it installed for free if at least one of your local stations resides at 61.5.

Yep, I'm "whale" subscriber. :)

AEP, MultiSports, HD, V*, Playboy, Extacy, superstations, TV5, Radio France International, Numerous a la carte grandfathered distants, Extra Innings MLB (in season). Also, I have a 921, a 510, 2 508s, and a 4900 active so I get tapped for the extra receiver fees as well....

So, I guess this means there are now more than 40k subscribers that Voom had when it was a stand alone company ?

Is this possible?

HD w/ Everything Pack
