Do I need an HDMI ???

I am completely devoid of any tech intelligence. Am coming out of the dark ages and just bought a Bose Lifestyle 48. Going to buy a plasma and am leaning towards the Panasonic TH-42PHD8UK. Inoticed it does not come with an HDMI card. Do I need one? Thanks in advance.

Not sure what you mean by HDMI card but what type of source will you be using-HD cable box, DVD player etc?

Go ahead and buy one. You will need it for HD DVD viewing. Not sure if your Bose LS48 will support it.
BTW, the Panny 8uk is an awesome panel.
