I'm getting emails and postcards telling me that Dish wants to upgrade my dish but they wanted a 2 year contract extension. I'd like to upgrade the dish myself instead of getting a new contract.

I live north of Albany NY and was wondering if I need a dish 1000.2 or 1000.4. I have the everything pack with Albany NY locals and have three current HD boxes.

So am I better off pointing to 61.5, 72.7, and 77 with a 1000.4 or 110,119,129 with a 1000.2?

The HD locals are not needed because I can use an off air antenna for those.

Thanks

The upgrade you are referencing is a no charge/no commitment one due to sat migration. If you would like me to check into this for I would be happy to. You can PM me your account or phone# and I can verify. We are moving your locations to the eastern arc with a 1000.4 dish to get 61.5, 72.7, & 77. Just let me know! :)

Yes you would. The only thing we EA customers are missing are SD locals already there in HD. I don't miss 'em.
