Not for nothing but don't they have a team that checks over these things before they put them online?

I have AEP and With HD gold and Platinum here is what they told me.

Actiually, I bookmarked that link about mid afternoon, same now as then.
Not to be a Kill-Joy, but . . .
. . . after all the hoopla and adrenalin of "OOooo New Toys, I have to have 'em!" and that which goes with feeling you're being left out . . . I jumped the other day, Chatted my way to these prized 11 and have to say I'm not impressed with these channels and can see why they may have been melded in with the rest. These are not special pay extra for type channels. Not to mention that my first taste of these was a commercial that I have never seen before for Cocaine Addiction. WHAT!
HDNet Movies - Reruns of nothing special
MGM Movies - Great reruns of old movies. This is a keeper. The original Casino Royale is on now. Priceless!!!!
Crime & Investigation - Has Nash Bridges in HD. 1 point. Love Joe's ties.
Logo - Gay Standard DTV
Fashion TV - Anorexic Fashion. Pay extra. WHAT?!
World Fishing Network - Thank you. I have a fish tank.
NBA Network HD - Seasons Over. Nothings on.
NHL Network HD - Seasons Over. Nothings on. Avs lost anyway. Great music though. I wonder which DISH CD channel it is?
BetJ - Black MTV with just as few music programs than MTV. I was expecting, well, Jazz, isn't that what the "J" stands for? Not Barber Shop Reality TV.
Universal HD - Crisper USA Network
MAVTV - Isn't this another of Mark Cuban's personal playlist channels? Look at the line up.
I can see why these may not have sold well as a package and were merged. If there are any complications with billing or upgrading in the future, I will gladly give these back if it will fix things. But that's just me though.

They still need to make a few changes to the channel package sections. For example when you click on "sports" in the AEP section, it included many channels you dont get unless you have sportspack.
For the past few days the HD package page wasnt even coming up here. It was just reloading itself over and over.
They need a HD list of all the HD channels they have in one easy to find spot.

Unbelievable! Where did that gotcha come from? It seems that no good decision by this company is exempt from reversal and being turned into a complete fiasco. I already got my free Platinum, but good grief! Can't management ever get onto the same page?
I noticed that, and I agree they do need a list. If you look at the HD section in the website address it still has TurboHD in it
Well they had better not try to charge me for them. The CSR confirmed no extra charge. I will dispute the bill if they do. That #3 disclaimer was added after I ordered it.
Actually, could be a basis for a class action if they start charging after saying it is free. I know that if nothing else, they WILL get a small claims action against them if they bill me for it.
Agree completely.
My bill would have gone up $2 per month if I switched on these Platinum channels so I just said no.
I just checked my account and under recent activity:
08/02 STATE TAXES $1.44
08/02 HBO & SHOWTIME 08/01 TO 09/05 $25.66
08/02 HD & PLATINUM 08/01 TO 09/05 $11.66
with a balance of $39.30
my math shows $38.76 .54 diff?
I have the silver 200 with silver hd and had them do the Platinum add-on Saturday night.
I am also a new customer since 7-06-09. Paid last bill on 7-27-09 for the amount of 86.54 for 2 months. I have the HBO-SHO free for 3 mo and CIN for .01
Did I screw up by adding the Plat? I'm going to have have a chat to figure this out...
Update: Chatted, they will add credits for free HBO-SHO in a few days....crazy billy
