We get 13 full power stations around Tulsa, and 35 or so channels total with the various subchannels. I think we have 3 or 4 audio channels too, as I normally get around 40 when I scan for channels, which I just did Saturday on a new tv my dad bought for his house.

ABC,CBS,NBC,FOX, PBS,CW, MYNet, ION, LWN, THISTV, RTV, MeTV, PBS Oklahoma (just Oklahoma produced shows), PBS CREATE, PBS Kids, Escape, GetTv , Zuus (which is being dropped for GritTv), Weather Radar, Leasea, Cozi, White Harvest, Qubo, IonLife, OVC, HSN, Golden Eagle Broadcasting, RSU Rogers State University (2nd PBS with stuff not shown on national PBS OETA) TBN and their subchannels, several spanish language and a couple other religious stations.

There is so much repeat programming on subscription tv, I rarely watch it anymore other than football. Online and OTA can fill pretty much everything I want to watch except for college football.

I live 3 hours south of Tulsa with mountains as Okies like to call them around me but they are more like just really big hills. Before the switch to digital it was easy to pull in Tulsa stations.

yeah, reception is not very good down there without a big money setup and then it's hit or miss. I had a nice setup at our ranch in Pontotoc, so I could pull in Tulsa, OKC and Dallas depending on the evening conditions. Digital transition cut most of what I could get in half, to where I just left it pointed to the 2 Ada-Sherman stations.

Charlie Ergen is really punishing Rupert Murdoch by not allowing Fox News Go Anywhere. I don't know how Murdoch can sleep at night from such a slight! Ergen going to war against Murdoch is like a flea attacking an elephant.

well, I am loving the way the poll is going on here so far.
Personally, I can't think of any channel I would want less than Fox on go anywhere...but that's just me

Seeing they are both billionaires, that'd make Murdoch a pretty small elephant. At least Ergen didn't make his money by hacking dead teenager cell phones.

No....Didn't Charlie rip off casinos?...Not that I care....When there both gone someone will take there place

He got blacklisted in Vegas for counting cards, but it by no means made him his money. His fortune came, when he was being thrown out of the casino, and saw a truck drive by that had satellite dishes in the back. Said he saw the future.

Dish is making a mistake not supporting foxnewsgo.com when all other providers are.
This will drive up costs for Dish subscribers when fox watchers drop Dish.

I doubt many would drop Dish because of FoxNews on the go availability. The ability to access right-wing media elsewhere on the go is quite overwhelming.

Not to mention, you can sling the channel to your mobile device. News channels on the go is pointless. If you missed something.... Google it. Otherwise, just watch live streaming news.

More and more people are slinging their DISH channels every day.

As far as trust goes, I dont think I trust ANY of our media here in the US. But that is not a discussion for here, Please remember our rule on politics thank you!

Most Dish users are not "slinging" channels

Well now they have the encouragement to. Look another revenue source for dish, selling dish service and products, for a superior service, compared to paying more money, and giving it away free. Genius business model. Especially since there is no monthly fee, outside the DVr service fee, that can be made up for to the customer by all the additional things they can get with it.
I don't think we will see any number of customers leaving dish because of this or any other app. And if the poll up top is any indicator(even with a small number of voters), the app is just not as interesting as the service you can get otherwise. I think dish has made the right call not picking it up. I would love Showtime on demand, but even then, it's not a large enough factor to make for my actual television provider decidings.

Fox and Dish aren't playing well with each other because it boils down to the fact Dish and Fox is tied up in court over sling tech and auto hop.

You must not have heard that Fox Sports 2 is now in HD. Apparently Dish and Fox do play well together on some things.

Let's get Fox News Go today and let's get FXM (Fox Movie Channel) in HD as well! No excuses.

If there is an additional cost for this then I vote we opt out and let it go. If anyone really wants Fox on a mobile device, you can sling it. It's not a big deal at all.

Fox is trying to screw Dish at every angle. We have ESPN and Disney fully on board and we have FS1/2. There is little more anyone can really ask for.

In reality Dish needs to go the other way, start dropping content people do not watch.
