Dish HD FREE for 6 months

So I was looking through this retailer chat and I guess I had missed this before. On August 15th will the $100 rebates for new subscribers and new HD subscribers respectively go away with the new 6 months free promotion? I fell like that is less than the current promotion and it just may light a fire under me to go ahead and push for Dish sooner now.

2 $100 rebates = 2 *$10 for 10 months = $200 savings or free HD for 10 months really.

free HD for 6 months = $20 for 6 months = $120

Please feel free to correct me if wrong but $200 > $120 and 10 months is a better deal than 6 months.

Please clear this up if I have anything wrong.

Plus, you can't receive National Geographic even if you subscribe to AT250. That deal sucks.

Isn't the "free HD for 6 months = $20 for 6 months = $120" the offer that begins August 15th?

I saw on Dish's websight for existing customers to upgrade to HD programming where to get $10 mail in rebate for 10 months, but where do you find the 'other' $10/10 month (2 $100 rebates = 2 *$10 for 10 months = $200 savings or free HD for 10 months really) discount?

there is a new promotion for that as a sign up bonus.
you get 10$x10months for signing up period
and another 10x10 for signing up for hd...
